Why buy refurbished

Every device is tested properly before it goes on the shelf — battery health, ports, screen, speakers, the lot. If something needed replacing, we replaced it.
Three-month warranty
If something goes wrong in the first three months, bring it back. You’re dealing with the person who tested it, not a returns department in another country.
Have a go before you buy
Come in and actually use it. Check the weight, the keyboard, the screen. You can’t do that buying second-hand online from a stranger.

Old phones, laptops and tablets sitting in a drawer are worth money — and we buy them whether they work or not.
Bring it in and we’ll make you an honest cash offer on the spot. If it’s not worth anything we’ll tell you that too, and we can recycle it responsibly rather than it going in the bin.
Your data goes nowhere. Everything is securely wiped before a device is resold, and we’ll happily do that in front of you if you’d rather see it done.

What does “refurbished” actually mean here?
That we’ve tested it properly, replaced anything that needed replacing, cleaned it, securely wiped it and checked it works as it should.
It doesn’t mean brand new, and we grade honestly — a Grade B device will have light marks and we’ll say so rather than let you find out at home.
Is my data safe if I sell you my old phone?
Yes. Every device is securely wiped before it’s resold, and if you’d rather watch it happen we’ll do it while you’re stood there.
It’s worth signing out of your accounts before you bring it in, and we can help with that if you’re not sure how.
Can I pay online and have it delivered?
Not at the moment — everything here is sold in the shop. Ring us and we’ll put an item aside for you to collect and pay for when you come in.
That way you get to see and try the actual device before any money changes hands.
What if it goes wrong?
Bring it back. Everything comes with a three-month warranty, and you’ll be dealing with the person who tested it rather than a call centre.
Do the phones come unlocked?
Where a phone is unlocked we say so in the listing. If it isn’t stated, ask — and if you need a particular network we can usually sort it.
Can you find me a specific model?
Often, yes. Tell us what you’re after and roughly what you want to spend, and we’ll keep an eye out. Plenty of our stock is spoken for before it ever reaches the website.
